Job Summary and QualificationsUnder the supervision of the Director of Cardiovascular services/Designee and supervising provider. Registered nurses, physician assistants and/or advance practice nurse practitioners are eligible for this position. The Registered Nurse (RN) Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that patient-centered care in the ambulatory and inpatient settings for patients with cardiac electronic devices, pacemakers, cardiac defibrillators, Loop recorders and holter monitors for the diagnosis and treatment of the cardiac arrhythmias. Will collaborate with the Cardiologists, Electrophysiologist, Advanced Practitioners, cardiac device technologist and other members of the patient care team to achieve optimal clinical outcomes. The RN Coordinator will support patients with remote monitoring, device implantation and follow ups, and education. RN will also provide inpatient device support.
